For the next eight days and eight nights, let’s show the world that antisemitism has no place to hide when our stars shine EVEN brighter this Hanukkah!

With the mitzvah of counting the 49 days, known as Sefirat Ha`Omer, the Torah invites us on a journey into the human psyche, into the soul. Each of the seven weeks between Passover and Shavuot is dedicated to examining and refining one of them.
Love allows us to reach above and beyond ourselves, to experience another person and to allow that person to experience us.

Let’s Stop Hate with Jewish Pride
For 2,000 years, the Star of David has been a proud symbol of Jewish heritage. But it has also been used to terrorize the Jewish community and spread hate.
And antisemitism is rising again. Since October 7, more than half of Jewish college students feel less safe on campus, and 1 in 3 students say they need to hide their Jewish identity. And we are recording the highest levels of antisemitism on campus…ever. That’s not okay.
Hillel is calling on our community to stand up to rising antisemitism right here, right now: It’s time to #OwnYourStar this Hanukkah and let our stars and Jewish pride shine even brighter.
